"Shrek Jr"​ Ages 5-15

Once upon a time, in a far away swamp, there lived an ogre named Shrek.  One day, Shrek finds his swamp invaded by banished fairytale misfits who have been cast off by Lord Farquaad, a tiny terror with big ambitions. When Shrek sets off with a wisecracking donkey to confront Farquaad, he's handed a task — if he rescues feisty princess Fiona, his swamp will be righted. Shrek tries to win Fiona’s love and vanquish Lord Farquaad, but a fairytale wouldn't be complete without a few twists and turns along the way.

 

Rehearsals Start Monday, January 5th or Tuesday, January 6th at Cobblestone Arts Center/1622 RT 332, Farmington 14425.

 

Auditions are held at the First Rehearsal

Prepare a song and monologue (or recite a short poem, or tell us a story)

• Please wear comfortable clothing appropriate for stretching and dance to each rehearsal, NO jeans, hair pulled up

• We will distribute scripts at the 2nd rehearsal, so please bring a 3-ring binder to store your script.

Performance:​

• Friday, March 6th @ 6:00pm (Monday Cast)

• Saturday, March 7th @ 12:00pm (Monday Cast) & 4:00pm (Tuesdays Cast)

• Sunday, March 8th @ 1pm (Tuesday Cast)

• Tickets - $8  (children 2 and under are free)

• Students will be asked to provide basic costumes (i.e. black pants, black socks and shoes, black long sleeve shirts)
